As CEO of Libra Solutions, Matt ensures the profitable growth of the business and leads the company’s collaborative, high-striving culture that encourages employees to question, innovate, and take calculated risks.
After graduating from Cornell with a BA in Applied Economics and Management, Matt spent the next 15 years in New York City working as an investment analyst and then as a portfolio manager for a $2.5 billion long-short equity portfolio at one of the world’s largest hedge funds. In 2018 he founded Probate Advance, which became the largest company in the inheritance advance industry and achieved profitability within two years of inception.
In 2023 he became CEO of Libra Solutions, where he integrated several businesses into a single, unified team and achieved a strong CAGR by modernizing the company’s capital structure and financing strategy, including factoring the cost of capital into decision-making.
Outside of work, Matt is active in several civic organizations, including serving as a Councilman on his town board and President of the local Lions Club. An avid competitor, he spends much of his free time cheering on and coaching his three kids in youth sports.
